Every Friday on Instagram Live I host WLTW - or What I Learned This Week. It’s a fun way to share little bits of info that I picked up and to hear what you learned too. You can also leave us a nugget that you picked up this week in the comments below.
Here’s what I learned this week:
Clickable Hashtags and Handles in Instagram.
Instagram is such a great platform for getting engagement - you know that you'll get likes and comments faster on the 'Gram than any other platform right now. The bio is even more important real estate for you. You've always been able to have a clickable link in the bio. But now you can have clickable hashtags and handles. This is great if you're in a show, or you want to say which theaters you've worked with in the past.
If you want to learn more check out this video from Social Media Examiner I shared on Facebook:
To Be a Leader, Lead
In working with some clients I realized that if I were leading by example, their learning would be so much faster. I can say, "do this" and here's how, or I can say, "do this" and watch me.
Experiential learning is what it's all about. So be a leader and lead.
That said, I'll be leading even more. And you can find me here:
Be Gentle and Prioritize When Shit Goes Crazy
Raise your hand if the snow this month messed you up too. Yup. It sure did. But you know what it taught me? There are some things that I take too long to do. And having very little time to get it done forced me to evaluate what needed to happen and get it done efficiently.
Crazy stuff is going to happen. Sometimes it'll happen more than others. Take care of yourself. Get sleep. Get nutrition. Get your priorities in check. Get moving.
